In the early 1970s, Sonia Sheridan acquired the Sound Page Recorder used primarily in the education sector (particularly in Japan). Sheridan would use it to tape discussions with students and speeches given by guest speakers in the Generative Systems workshops. The tool also allowed her to produce prints on the front of the sheets using various copiers and add a recorded explanation of the process on the back.
