Mathilde and Elfi, semi-structured interview (audio excerpt):

Mathilde and Elfi are Cegep students visiting the installation for the second time. They already know how it works and they play extensively with the installation. They put their faces and hands on the pedestal to see if the computer can recognise objects that are not provided. They were impressed that the computer produced the words "person" and "left" to correspond with the positions of their faces, but were also amused by the limited vocabulary of the computer and the mistakes it made.

Produced by the Daniel Langlois Foundation for Art, Science, and Technology; interviewer: Lizzie Muller, Raphaƫlle Aubin. Interview conducted October 2007 at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
